About Me

Shawn is an enthusiastic, knowledge craving sponge when it comes to training and behavior in the domestic dog! He started off working at a traditional training kennel. Not long after his thirst for knowledge took him to California, where he studied at The Michael Ellis School For Dog Trainers. He draws his vast knowledge  from some of the top competitors and behaviorists in the world. Most of his time spent is either training, playing or caring for dogs or reading the latest material by the dog gurus of the world. Attending dog training seminars monthly is a passion if not an addiction.

He currently owns two dogs Gabbie (boxer) and Artemis (pit mix). Artemis, came to him about two years ago. "Artie" as the family calls him is a very fearful dog that can turn his fear into aggression if not monitored correctly. Because of Shawn's patience, devotion and understanding the root of the problem, Artemis is getting better all the time!
